3 easy ways to hang plates on the wall. How nice, some decorative or ornamental plates on the wall. Hanging plates on your wall does not have to be difficult at all and makes it easy and fun when done on an Artiteq picture hanging system. 1. Hanging plates with a plate hanger

For hanging plates on the wall Artiteq has plate hangers. The plate hangers are attached across the center of the rear of the plate. Make sure that the end of the plate hanger clamps the plate properly. The silicone caps at the ends of the plate hanger prevent damage to the plate and stop the plate from slipping. The Artiteq plate hangers are suitable for plates with a diameter of between 16 – 24 cm and have a maximum weight carrying capacity of 1 kg.

2. Hanging plates with a tile hanger

Use the tile hanger when a plate hanger does not fit around the plate. The tile hanger is designed for hanging tiles or small wall plates. The tile hanger has an adhesive layer and is stuck on the back of the plate or tile. It is important to thoroughly degrease beforehand the area where the tile hanger will be placed and let it dry for 24 hours. The weight carrying capacity of the tile hanger is 1kg.

3. Hanging plates with a Dibond hanger

The Dibond hanger can also be used at the rear of the plate when a plate hanger does not fit around the plate. Just like the tile hanger, the Dibond hanger has an adhesive layer and is stuck on the back of the plate. It is important to thorougly degrease beforehand the area where the Dibond hanger will be placed and to let it dry for 24 hours. Check the weight carrying capacity before hanging anything. This may vary depending on the size of the Dibond hanger.

Hanging plates with a picture hanging system 

Now that the back of the plate is forseen with the appropriate hanging option, it can be attached on the wall. Do you want to keep your walls undamaged and without nail or drill holes? Then use an Artiteq picture hanging system. You attach this rail to the wall flush against the ceiling, along the entire length of your wall. Optionally, choose the paintable version to paint the rail in the same color as your wall or ceiling.

Click the Artiteq hanging wire in the required position in the hanging rail and attach the hook to the hanging wire at the required height. Then attach the hook to the plate, tile or Dibond hanger. Either cut off the excess hanging wire or roll this up and attach it behind the plate. This will stop the plate from tilting.
