Hang a whiteboard without drilling in 3 steps!

Do you want to hang a whiteboard in your office or other (business) space, but don’t want to keep drilling holes in your walls? We have the perfect solution for you! There are various ways to hang a whiteboard, however, the Artiteq Whiteboard hanging system has been specially developed to securely and flexibly attach a whiteboard to the wall. Combine the Whiteboard hanging system with one of Artiteq's picture hanging systems and you can place your whiteboard exactly where you want it. But before you hang the whiteboard, what should you consider? Do you know what type of whiteboard you are going to hang or what the right picture hanging system is for your space? In this blog, we explain in 3 steps what elements you need to consider to make the right choices!

Step 1. Choose your type of Whiteboard to hang on your wall

Do you want to hang a legamaster whiteboard? The type of whiteboard chosen depends on how intensively you will use it. Whether you use it daily intensively, occasionally for meetings, or somewhere in between. There is a whiteboard for every need. Depending on the use, you choose the right surface for your whiteboard. You can choose from surfaces of enamelled steel, painted steel, or melamine.

In addition to whiteboards, glassboards in various colors and pinboards (textile boards) can also be hung with the whiteboard mounting system.

Step 2. Choose the right mounting system for your Whiteboard

First, look at the space where you wish to attach the Whiteboard to the wall. There are various options available for attaching a whiteboard, depending on the location and the environment in which you want to place the Whiteboard. Especially in combination with a picture hanging system, Artiteq has developed the Whiteboard set hanging system. Choosing the right picture hanging system depends on where it will be placed and how it can be mounted. We have picture hanging systems with wall mounting, ceiling mounting, and recessed mounting. After choosing the right picture hanging system, the Whiteboard hanging system will be used to attach the Whiteboard to the chosen picture hanging system.

Wall Systems
Our wall systems, as the name suggests, are attached to the wall. This is done with our special Click & Connect system that is mounted on the wall. Check all our wall systems here.

Ceiling Systems
Our ceiling systems are attached to the ceiling or used in combination with a suspended ceiling. Choose the Up Rail when you can attach the hanging rail directly to the concrete ceiling. Another option is to mount a hanging rail against the wooden edge of an existing suspended ceiling. In this case, choose the Top Rail, which makes the rail “disappear” into the ceiling.

Recessed Systems
Specifically for new construction or renovation, we have developed recessed picture hanging systems. Our recessed systems can be discreetly integrated into suspended ceilings or drywall ceilings, resulting in a sleek and seamless finish. The Shadowline Drywall is used, for example, with drywall ceilings, and the Shadowline Masonry is specially designed for applications on brick walls in combination with drywall ceilings. Step 3. Hang up the whiteboard without drilling

After choosing the right picture hanging system, you can use our special whiteboard hanging system; Whiteboard set. This set is specially developed to attach whiteboards to the wall. It offers flexibility as it is used in combination with our picture rails. This makes it very easy to hang the whiteboard exactly where you want it. It is also easy to reposition the whiteboard vertically and horizontally.

This whiteboard hanging system consists of 4 clamps that you attach to the back of the whiteboard. Then you thread the steel wire hanging wires through the clamps, tighten them, and place them in the picture rail. And voilà. Your whiteboard hangs securely on the wall and can still be moved left or right if needed. Now you can start brainstorming, planning, or just drawing!

Tip: If you choose a magnet-holding surface, you can easily use multiple magnetic mounting blocks to hang your whiteboard on a steel wall.
