Lists and paintings neatly on your wall
Less tilting with the Tilt Reducer
With a picture hanging system, you can safely and flexibly hang frames, paintings, and other wall decorations on your walls. You determine where and how high or low you hang it on the wall. Our picture hanging systems can be found in museums, galleries, offices, showrooms, and at home. In museums, galleries, and exhibition spaces, various sizes of frames and paintings hang on the wall. These can be large, small, heavy, or light. In some cases, mainly with smaller and lighter ones, the frames and paintings tend to hang a bit more forward. In museums, galleries, and exhibition spaces, paintings are often intentionally hung so that they lean forward due to the light incidence. This is not seen as a hindrance, but when you want to hang frames at home or in the office, it can sometimes turn out differently. As a solution to this, we have developed the Tilt Reducer. The Tilt Reducer ensures that small and light frames and paintings hung on a picture hanging system lean less forward. This way, your frame hangs flatter and thus tighter against your wall.
The difference
See below the difference where a frame without the Tilt Reducer is hung (photo left) and a frame with the Tilt Reducer is hung (photo right). The frame with the Tilt Reducer hangs visibly flatter against the wall.
But how do you best hang a painting on your wall? Should the painting be in the middle of the wall or above the sofa? Do you want to hang multiple paintings, 2 paintings next to each other or rather 3 paintings next to each other? In this blog, we provide you with several useful tips for hanging paintings and small pictures on the wall, so you can give your home a personal touch!
How to use the Tilt Reducer
The Tilt Reducer is attached to the top of a wooden frame using the included screws, either individually or as a pair, aligned with the hanging point of the hook or hooks. The Tilt Reducer works best on a frame with a back that is at least 10mm high and at least 12mm thick. By attaching the Tilt Reducer to the top of the frame, it comes very close to the hanging wire. This brings the top of the frame closer to the wall.
