Hanging Dibond panels
Hanging Dibond panels without damaging your walls
Hanging Dibond? We are seeing more and more Dibond paintings in home interiors, schools, and offices. A Dibond panel is strong, lightweight, maintenance-free, and durable. Compared to plexiglass, Dibond is not transparent. But how do you hang a Dibond painting without drilling? The back is, after all, smooth... Artiteq has developed two different hanging systems for Dibond. Curious which system is most suitable for hanging your Dibond photo? Then read this blog.
A dibond painting is increasingly seen in interior design. For example, hang a large painting above the sofa in the living room, the bed in the bedroom, above a fireplace, or above the dining table. Smaller sizes of dibond paintings are very suitable as a combination in a set or gallery wall.
Artworks or your own photos, you can have them all printed on a dibond plate. It has a beautiful matte finish, vibrant colors, and is even suitable for hanging in the bathroom.
Do you have dibond paintings that you want to hang on the wall in a flexible way? Do you enjoy changing wall decorations regularly? Or do you want to hang dibond plates in the form of a photo wall? There are several ways to hang dibond panels on your wall without damaging it.
Artiteq has developed two different 'invisible' dibond hanging systems for hanging dibond plates:
These invisible hanging systems keep the dibond plate intact, and the hanging system is not visible. The systems are attached to the back of the painting.

Use dibond hangers
The Dibond hangers are self-adhesive hooks made of galvanized steel that can be stuck as a blind hanging system on the back of a dibond panel, but also on plexiglass or forex.
The dibond hanger wall hook is available in different sizes: 45x45mm, 70x70mm, 100x100mm, and 100x200mm. Depending on the weight and size of the wall panel, the appropriate size of Dibond hanger to be used is determined.
45x45mm > max weight 1kg
70x70mm > max weight 2kg
100x100mm > max weight 4kg
100x200mm > max weight 8kg

Use the blind hanging system: Artiteq Back Frame Hanging System
The Artiteq Back Frame Hanging System is a blind hanging system specifically designed for hanging large wall panels / plates made of aluminum (Dibond), forex, or acrylic. The frame is attached to the back of the panel and is therefore not visible from the front. Thanks to the special corners, the Power Corners, already mounted panels can be easily hung level (correction up to 6 mm). In addition to safely and easily hanging a wall panel with this system, it also creates depth and shadow between the panel and the wall.
The specially designed Power Corners for the Artiteq Back Frame Hanging System offer 3 options for hanging dibond plates: fixed, secured, or flexible.
Easy hanging – fixed
The Power Corners provide the ability to easily hang the wall panel level (up to 6 mm correction possible). The Power Corners come with a handy drilling aid that indicates the exact position of the drill holes. There is also an adjustment option after attaching the system behind the printed panel.
Easy hanging – secured
The panel can be attached to the wall and locked using 4 Security Clips. The frame hangs on the top two Security Clips. By turning the bottom two Clips with the Security Key, the frame is locked.
Easy hanging – flexible
The combination of the Artiteq Back Frame Hanging System with a picture hanging system offers flexibility and ease of use when decorating your walls. The hanging wire is placed in the Power Corner and the hanging hooks in the lower Power Corners to prevent tilting as much as possible. To completely prevent tilting, we recommend using Flex Bumpers: they create more or less depth and stabilize the frame against the wall.

Dibond hanging system
Hanging Dibond photos can be done in combination with the Artiteq hanging system, such as the Click Rail, which keeps walls undamaged. This allows you to hang Dibond without drilling and enjoy all the benefits of the picture hanging system: you can easily change, move, and hang the Dibond paintings at any desired place and height in the rail. This way, you can regularly give a different look to the space or create a playful gallery wall with multiple, smaller Dibond paintings.
